The president of the Azerbaijan Republic, Heidar Alirzaogly Aliev, opens the world congress of Azerbaijanians. Baku 9 — 10 November 2001. At congress was present 500 delegates from 37 countries of the world. Congress has selected the coordination centre from 101 persons. The chairman of board academician Mahmud Kerimov was elected. The representative from Estonia became Niyazi Hadziev.
