20 january also known as Black Saturday or the January Massacre, was a violent crackdown on a civilian population of Baku on 1920 January 1990, pursuant to a state of emergency during the dissolution of the Soviet Union.
According to official estimates 146 Azerbaijani civilians were killed,744 were wounded,841 imprisoned.
